In this support article, you will get to know our Release Notes and the benefits that these bring our users in terms of the product improvements and bug fixes.

Product Versions of myHR: 2.5, 3.0

-----------------------------------------

TABLE OF CONTENTS

What are Release Notes?

A release note refers to the documentation produced and distributed alongside the launch of a new software product or a product update (e.g., recent changes, feature enhancements, or bug fixes).

Our release notes describe product enhancements on myHR and specify changes by showing screenshots of the test database before and after a release.

Who are the Primary Audiences of myHR Release Notes?

Generally, product users of myHR (versions 2.5 and 3) and ePayroll/myPayroll (version 2).

There are release notes meant for the readership of specific companies, in which case, admins and POCs need to log in to their customer profiles on the Helpdesk Portal to view them.

When and where can a user read the Release Notes?

Release Notes are posted after a target release date is announced via our mailing list. Users are suggested to subscribe to the mailing list for announcements of upcoming releases.

Before the release date, an announcement containing an itemized list of enhancements and bug fixes is cascaded. Each item on the list comes with keywords that are hyperlinked to their respective support articles on the Helpdesk Portal.

These release notes are made publicly available on the Helpdesk Portal for user awareness of the upcoming changes.

After the release happens, an announcement is posted to indicate its success and completion.

What do Release Notes contain?

Each release note is placed in its dated release bucket (RB). If it is released on October 10, 2022, then the release note can be found under RB20221010.

  • The release note has its descriptive title. Its contents will have the reference ID of the development item from Engineering (DEV-#####).
  • It will show the purpose of the release, end-user impact, video tutorials, before and after screenshots, and disclaimers if any.

Where else can a user access these Release Notes?

There are at least two (2) ways to access our release notes.

  • Release Notes can easily be accessed via the Release Note Widget on myHR. To activate the said widget, the account admin needs to request it over to helpdesk@titanium.ph and indicate as to which roles it should be activated for.
  • It can also be sent as an email to the user via our mailing list. The user only needs to subscribe once and he/she will start receiving announcements and release notes.
